Abstract
The orientation of C-60 molecules on a variety of metal surfaces as derived by means of X-ray photoelectron diffraction is reviewed. This approach, newly applied by our team to the study of fullerenes, is briefly illustrated. The orientational behaviour of C-60 as a function of coverage and temperature is analysed and discussed in relation to the electronic and structural properties of the underlying metal surface.File in questo prodotto:
