Abstract

We deal with a method for designing the wavelet networks to be used into a digital instrument for measuring the time-of-flight (ToF) coming from ultrasound sensors. After a brief outline of the theory underlying the wavelet networks, all the fundamental steps of the proposed method are described in detail. Then, experimental results obtained from the method application to a commercial ultrasound sensor are given and discussed.
