Contrastare la povertà estrema a partire dalla casa. L’Housing First in Calabria, tra limiti e potenziali sviluppi

Sociological investigations of extreme poverty can draw interesting insights from innovative models of social work. This is the case of Housing First: an approach to homelessness that starts with housing to help homeless people integrate into so-ciety. This article recalls the main features of the measures to combat homelessness in Europe, outlines the Housing First model and the main elements emerging from the Italian experiment of its implementation, offering insight into its adoption in Calabria.
