Tra lingua e memoria. A proposito di Racconti dell'indicibile. Trauma e memoria in Luisa Valenzuela

This paper proposes a view of the book Racconti dell'indicibile. The volume consists of two stories by the Argentine writer, accompanied by three critical essays. In these essays, the analysis plans of the two stories - despite their different approaches - are closely intertwined within the common thread of the representation of the Other and of the unspeakable. The reflections that the book opens up are many: trauma and memory, the identity of the Argentone people, the social role of literature, the traslation. This paper focuses only on some of them: the issues of memory, trauma and translation.
