Abstract

In this paper a study of impulse response in time domain is introduced for wide-band antenna. The proposed monopole antenna which was fabricated on flexible substrate has compact area that makes it suitable for wearable applications. Transmission coefficient is measured between two identical antennas. Experimental results are performed while the antennas were in both straight/bent configuration setups in multi-reflections environment. Received pulses in order of ns are calculated for all antenna setups. Cross correlation is applied between input and received pulses in order to comprehend and compare the impulse response for every antenna configuration scenario.
