On the basis of the hardware architecture of the Image Flow Cytometer it was assessed that the alterations affecting the images are: bad exposure, out of focus, motion blur, and Gaussian noise. In the paper the computational burden to evaluate the Image Quality indexes is taken into account in order to reduce it and to speed up the overall correction process of the altered images. To reach these goals a new optimized procedure is proposed. It is able to evaluate in the sequential manner the indexes of the considered image alterations. Preliminary experimental tests confirm the fitness of the indexes evaluated on the basis of the optimized procedure and the advantages regarding the reduction of computational complexity.
