La questione della soggettività nel pensiero di John Dewey

The author analyzes the problem of the subject in John Dewey’s thought. The subject in the American philosopher’s thought is not as strong as in the Kantian interpretation of transcendental subjectivity, neither is he as weak as in the post-modern interpretation. In Dewey’s interpretation the subject is a balance between the subject and the object, between the particular and the universal.

L’autore analizza il problema del soggetto nel pensiero di John Dewey. Il soggetto nel pensiero del filosofo americano non è tanto forte secondo l’interpretazione kantiana della soggettività trascendentale e non è debole secondo l’impostazione del pensiero post-moderno. Il soggetto nel pensiero di Dewey è un equilibrio tra il soggetto e l’oggetto, tra il particolare e l’universale.
