The possibility to get access, through the Internet, to any kind of information does not always encourage memorization. In other words, the easy and cheap access to an external memory lessens the importance of retaining information. This may explain, at least partially, the reason why today’s learners – despite the qualitative and quantitative superiority of the learning tools at their disposal – are not, generally speaking, better prepared than yesterday’s learners. In order to investigate such an issue a survey among university students, using questionnaires, has been carried out.

Abstract
The possibility to get access, through the Internet, to any kind of information does not always encourage memorization. In other words, the easy and cheap access to an external memory lessens the importance of retaining information. This may explain, at least partially, the reason why today’s learners – despite the qualitative and quantitative superiority of the learning tools at their disposal – are not, generally speaking, better prepared than yesterday’s learners. In order to investigate such an issue a survey among university students, using questionnaires, has been carried out.File in questo prodotto:
