Abstract

The objective of the article is to provide an overview of distance learning in Italy, reconstructing the evolution of media and new technologies that have inevitably influenced the world of training and learning. Taking as reference Levitt’s Model (the product is like a bundle of attributes), the research analyzes how e-Learning and new digital technologies have marked the passage from a communication based for centuries on words and books and the direct relationship with the teacher - to the dematerialization of this relationship and the integration of different languages.
