In this work, the author discusses one of the main aspects of education: ‘knowledge’. Because of the uncertainty of the individual, knowledge is shrouded in an ontological complexity that is still quite far from being clarified. If, on one hand, we consider the uncertainty of the individual and the aims being pursued, and on the other hand, we try to clarify weather the essence of knowledge is a ‘formal certainty’ or ‘truth’, this means that we are depicting ab imis the humus of the individual considered both as unique subject in his specificity and as social heritage.

L'autrice in questo lavoro discute un aspetto centrale dell'educazione: la ‘conoscenza’ che a causa della problematicità dell'individuo, è avvolta in una complessità ontologica che ancora è lontana dall'essere chiarita. Davanti alla problematicità dell'individuo e ai fini che si intendono perseguire, cercare di chiarire se l'essenza della conoscenza sia ‘certezza formale’ o ‘verità’ significa configurare ab imis la humus dell'individuo inteso sia come soggetto unico nella sua specificità sia come patrimonio sociale.
