This institution had so far proved to be substantially impermeable to change, enough to resist without any particular damage to the psychiatric critique movement that in 1978 brought Italy to the passing of the civilian asylum system. Today, the re-form of these places can only question the on going changes in the cultural codes that supervise the relationship with the non-Us.
