Abstract
In the mathematical modeling of integrated circuits, the macroscopic, mesoscopic and microscopic level of descriptions have been pursued in parallel, without interaction among different scales. However, due to the downsizing of modern devices, the typical scales of description tend to coalesce. In this paper we present some recent results arising in multiscale modeling of integrated circuit. Moreover, we illustrate some new interesting mathematical challenges which are posed by the convergence of scales in circuits comprising nanodevices.File in questo prodotto:
