A dual band (Q-V) hat fed cylindrical reflector antenna is presented. The proposed antenna is fed with a dual band corrugated hat feed. The hat feed is designed using a dual corrugation optimized to obtain a similar radiation pattern and a good matching on the two bands. The feed is illuminated by a parallel plate waveguide fed with a rectangular horn which provides large bandwidth and good efficiency. Results show that the proposed design provides an efficient solution for dual band high gain antennas operating at mmw. © 2016 European Association of Antennas and Propagation.
