Refering to the use of Intelligent Agents in e-learning environments, TutorBot is described in the present work to support the tutoring on line activities through the interaction directly in natural language,. This latter is the result of the research activity started in 2001, that has seen its evolution from the structuration phase of the knowledge base to the implementation of the user’s interface, to reach the management of the knowledge base with particular attention to the updating of the latter. Concerning this aspect, software modules have already been presented in previous national and international conferences, that allow the automatic updating of the agent’s knowledge base, exploiting different synchronic and asynchronic communication tools. In particular, in this work, we want to emphasize the realisation of an authoring system, that allows the downloading/updating of the knowledge base from the teachers, directly from a web-based module, in such way to extend the sharing of the contents at a global level, putting the basis for a more and more efficient content retrieving. Moreover, we will develop how TutorBot allows the realisation of the main objectives at the basis of the socio-constructivist model.

Abstract
Moreover, we will develop how TutorBot allows the realisation of the main objectives at the basis of the socio-constructivist model.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
