Abstract: This paper illustrates the most relevant legal implications of the Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques in Italy law. It analyzes the legal status of the embryo according to the doctrine of the Court european of Human Rights. The right to know is analyzed from a comparative perspective between the right to know the origins of children, the legal determination of parents in artificial procreation, and definition of consequences of kafala.
