In most European countries the acceptance of the legal validity of digital documents has led to the production of new professionals profiles, and multidisciplinary training in line with the changing demands of the labor market. In Italy, even though there are advanced laws that promote the use of digital documents through the creation of targeted processes of dematerialization, the landscape of educational profiles related to document management has remained tied to a scenario strongly oriented towards historical record. This paper, comparing the Italian situation with that of other European countries, especially in the light of the harmonization required by the Bologna Process, outlines the current state of the art and tries to formulate hypotheses about possible solutions for these issues.

Abstract
In most European countries the acceptance of the legal validity of digital documents has led to the production of new professionals profiles, and multidisciplinary training in line with the changing demands of the labor market. In Italy, even though there are advanced laws that promote the use of digital documents through the creation of targeted processes of dematerialization, the landscape of educational profiles related to document management has remained tied to a scenario strongly oriented towards historical record. This paper, comparing the Italian situation with that of other European countries, especially in the light of the harmonization required by the Bologna Process, outlines the current state of the art and tries to formulate hypotheses about possible solutions for these issues.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
