Mitigation of desertification processes in Calabria through the coltural conversion in areas with a high vulnerability is the project that contains in the volume “Desertification. Mitigation of processes”. The Project have a duration of five years and it will be implemented in an area in Calabria with a high risk of desertification and it aims to experiment a model of good agricultural practices in areas with a high risk of desertification. The experiment consists in a farming changing of a sampling area selected because of the typology of the soil, of the climate, of the morphology and of the agricultural practices and dislocated in 3 sites, in the central part of the Esaro area of Crotone, in relation with Simeri and Tacina rivers. The mix of fodder essences constituted from grasses and legumes is usually used in Calabria to covert the crop from wheat to pasture. The turf of the meadow grass guarantees the soil from the erosive phenomenon caused by the rain stronger in the autumn and responsible of the thinning of the soil. The grasses and legumes will be selected to change the colture from wheat to pasture and usually used in the area it will be the turf of the meadow grass that will guarantee the soil from the erosive phenomenon caused by the rain. The expected result is a coltural changing not only cultural, in the using of the soil: the choice of farming techniques and sustainable crop.

Abstract
The expected result is a coltural changing not only cultural, in the using of the soil: the choice of farming techniques and sustainable crop.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
