A compact reflector based beam forming network realized in SIW Technology for K-band applications has been investigated. A hat feed, in combination with a parabolic reflector, has been used to generate an appropriate field distribution to feed planar antenna arrays. Two configurations (single layer and double layer) has been investigated, showing better performances for the dual layer case. The proposed structure is compatible with low-cost PCB fabrication process. © 2016 European Association of Antennas and Propagation.

Abstract

A compact reflector based beam forming network realized in SIW Technology for K-band applications has been investigated.
