The Minkowski fractal patch is proposed in this work for the design of a microstrip reflectarray with reducedsize unit cell, offering wide-angle fixed-beam capabilities. The adopted element configuration is applied to design a X-band 0.3λ×0.3λ reflectarray cell giving a 320° phase agility. A reflectarray prototype of 15x15 radiators is considered as validation example, and the measured radiation patterns are reported to demonstrate the reflectarray capability to point the main lobe at a wide direction off-broadside (i. e. 50°).

Abstract
The Minkowski fractal patch is proposed in this work for the design of a microstrip reflectarray with reducedsize unit cell, offering wide-angle fixed-beam capabilities. The adopted element configuration is applied to design a X-band 0.3λ×0.3λ reflectarray cell giving a 320° phase agility. A reflectarray prototype of 15x15 radiators is considered as validation example, and the measured radiation patterns are reported to demonstrate the reflectarray capability to point the main lobe at a wide direction off-broadside (i. e. 50°).File in questo prodotto:
