The shear capacity of hybrid steel truss reinforced concrete beams (PREM beams) is analysed in the paper by results of an experimental investigation. Three different typologies of PREM beams with the same geometry, were examined varying physical and mechanical properties of the steel used to made the truss. Results of tests allow to evaluate the shear capacity of each typology of PREM beams and, the influence of the steel-to-concrete bond to the shear capacity of PREM beams.
