Abstract
CAPE (Computer Aided Production Engineering) development and consolidation were useful for a correct definition of the concept of Digital Factory and were also an extremely interesting application to solve the needs of a correct production planning and optimisation of interactions among the components of an industrial system. The present work synthetically describes the methodology and the results obtained in the simulation of critical activities during the transformation process applied in a real situation. The results obtained are extremely positive and set the conditions for deeper analyses able to ensure functional and operational tools for innovative research and technology needs in SMEs (small and medium enterprises.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
