Valorization project of monumental heritage located in the historical center of Belvedere Maritime (CS)

To know and to understand an monumental artwork of historical and architectural interest means first of all to preserve it in time, make it tangible testimony of our past. For a better conservation of the cultural heritage we must realize specific analyzes, to study the condition they are presented and all the possible pathologies of degradation that may irremediably damage it. To study a cultural good means even enhance it, as well means to involve the community so as to arouse more interest for the environment that surrounds us; remaining loyal to these objectives, it was studied the religious heritage of the historical centre of Belvedere Marittimo, focusing attention on some buildings in order to valorise it through a descriptive overview of the major monuments and particularly on the Church of Madonna delle Grazie, little known compared to its aesthetic and monumental value, on which it was developed a diagnostic plan.
