Computational reflection is the activity performed by a computational system when doing computation of its own computation. This concept is highly relevant in RT, non stopping systems where the distinction between host and target vanishes. The paper presents a model where the system is represented as a network of objects and relations. Objects have multiple representations partitioned into enviornments devoted to specific reflection activities. The approach allows to design a system in an integrated way and to implement each environment according to cost-performance tradeoffs.

Abstract
Computational reflection is the activity performed by a computational system when doing computation of its own computation. This concept is highly relevant in RT, non stopping systems where the distinction between host and target vanishes. The paper presents a model where the system is represented as a network of objects and relations. Objects have multiple representations partitioned into enviornments devoted to specific reflection activities. The approach allows to design a system in an integrated way and to implement each environment according to cost-performance tradeoffs.File in questo prodotto:
