In the contribute we would like to explore the experience of the Amarelli museum, a best practice of industrial tourism in Italy (Amarelli is the second industria! museum in Italy for numbers of visitors, in a region sadly famous for its backwardness under an economie profile. Tue choice to organize a museum that allows to deepen the history of the product starting from the centuries-old company history, with annexed a company shop, was made many years ago, in 2001, and now this choice revealed a winning one as Amarelli Museum recorded actually 4 million euro a year, and its sales revenues constitutes the 25% of the sales revenues of the whole Amarelli company. Tue papers intends to focus on the motivations that drove Amarelli owners to open the Amarelli Licorice Museum, the phases that the museum project encountered since 2001, the relationships with the other Amarelli activities carried out by the company, and the drivers that led Amarelli museum to became the second industrial museum in Italy.
