Two different membrane processes, pervaporation (PV) and membrane contactors (MCs) will be discussed. In both cases, the membrane is the heart of the process but while in PV the membranes are dense in MCs are microporous leading in different transport mechanisms. Similarities and main differences of both processes will be reported together with relative applications and transport modeling.

Abstract
Two different membrane processes, pervaporation (PV) and membrane contactors (MCs) will be discussed. In both cases, the membrane is the heart of the process but while in PV the membranes are dense in MCs are microporous leading in different transport mechanisms. Similarities and main differences of both processes will be reported together with relative applications and transport modeling.File in questo prodotto:
