IL PIANO DIAGNOSTICO COME MEZZO PER VALORIZZARE

The historic center of the community of Cerchiara di Calabria, which is located on the slope near of the Ionian Sea of Calabria, is well-known for the presence of historical artefacts of considerable relevance, including the Palazzo Pistocchi, known as the greatest building of nobility during the fi rst years of the 17th century. In order to contribute to the enhancement of the halls in the center as well as the area of the center of Cerchiara, specifi c panels of awareness have been developed in regard to characteristics of qualifi ed tourism. In this work, they particularly explain the panel of cultural path, which summarize the most important halls of the historic center. Among these, they examined the Palazzo Pistocchi thoroughly with the aim to detect elements of the enhancement, which can be distinguished from its diagnostic development of the broader context up to the laboratory investigations carried out with representative samples as well as the investigation of its architectural characteristics.
