In the present work, a single-step approach to a Phaseless Contrast Source Inverse Scattering problem (P-CSI) is considered, where the scattering phenomena is tackled in its full non-linearity, since no constraint on the nature of the Object Under Test (OUT) is assumed. Numerical validations are carried out, starting from the contrast source (CS) formulation of the inverse scattering problem, by exploiting the knowledge of the measured amplitude of the total field, together with the complex incident field. Therefore, no preliminary phase retrieval step is performed. The proposed method is numerically validated, and some reconstructed dielectric profiles are shown.

Abstract
In the present work, a single-step approach to a Phaseless Contrast Source Inverse Scattering problem (P-CSI) is considered, where the scattering phenomena is tackled in its full non-linearity, since no constraint on the nature of the Object Under Test (OUT) is assumed. Numerical validations are carried out, starting from the contrast source (CS) formulation of the inverse scattering problem, by exploiting the knowledge of the measured amplitude of the total field, together with the complex incident field. Therefore, no preliminary phase retrieval step is performed. The proposed method is numerically validated, and some reconstructed dielectric profiles are shown.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
