Abstract
A patch antenna design on a textile substrate is presented in this work for the monitoring of blood glucose concentration. An improved dielectric model is introduced and adopted for blood, by specifically considering its dispersive behavior as well as the complex permittivity variations when changing the glucose concentration. Some preliminary numerical results are discussed to prove the potential application of the proposed wearable antenna in the noninvasive monitoring of diabetes disease.File in questo prodotto:
