This book focuses on the valorisation of the cultural heritage of Francavilla Marittima. In this town there is the archaeological area of the Timpone della Motta- Macchiabate, one of the main Oenotrian sites in southern Italy. The archaeological area is well known in the scientific field but it can also become a topic of development and growth for the local community. The book examines the promotional strategies pursued so far, which have not always proved effective.
