Abstract
Surface functionalization is emerging as one of the most promising methodologies for properly improving surfaces, especially for biomedical applications. The possibility to tune surface properties improving the prosthesis performance and their interaction with the human environment represents a challenging research area. The paper reports the most used surface functionalization for metallic biomaterials highlighting limitations and advantages of such technologies on the actual industrial panorama.File in questo prodotto:
