Legal protection of tourism: a comparison between Italy, Germany and Albania

The legal protection of tourism related events is an interesting aspect to analyze from the point of view of comparative law. The term "protection" is to be understood as polysemantic, since the article concerns both the protection of tourists and that of the environment. This contribution focuses on three legislative systems: Albania, Italy and Germany (in detail, how Italy, Albania and German laws address the issue of the balance between tourism growth and respect for one's natural and cultural heritage). To achieve this objective we have carried out a systematic review of the scientific literature in order to highlight the connections between the regulatory framework and sustainable tourism, as well as a careful study of the rules relating to the legal protection of the States that we will analyse. It is therefore expected to provide contributions to the existing literature and to suggest policy maneuvers aimed at the growth and protection of tourism, taking into account what may be the insurmountable limits to the different regulations of the systems that will be analysed.
