Salivary glands are responsible of saliva secretion and they include the parotid, sub-mandibular and several glands.They can present diseases related to inflammatory or neoplastic lesions. Diagnosis of salivary disorders can be performed by analyzing clinical data and images, together with physiological inspection. Diagnostic images are deeply useful to support early detection. We focus on modelling an annotation and integration system able to support physicians in clinical examination and diagnosis. Annotations can be added at image databases and used to train automatic lesion classification.
