Abstract
An inverse scattering method under linearized Born approximation is considered in non-homogeneous background medium accounting for the extra scattering contributions by two (or more) known point like obstacles in presence of unknown targets' in the domain of investigation. The method is of interest in modelling several scenarios such as automotive radar or indoor multipath environment for sensing and imaging applications. This contribution aims to explore when and how the role of the multipath can have a positive or negative effects. Enhanced resolution and improved reconstruction capability reducing artefacts and ghost targets for a back-propagation algorithms are investigated, discussed and validated.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
