The dataset reports the data of Carabid beetles collected by pitfall traps in an alpine region within the Eastern Alps, especially the populations of beetles living in meadows and screes from 1300 m a.s.l. to 2160 m a.s.l. on the Southern Dolomites were analysed. In particular, the entomofauna of four areas,Vette di Feltre, Erera Brendol, La Vareta and Monte Garda, was sampled. The dataset comprises two tables: the event table, where data on sample sites were given, and the occurrence table, where species abundance was given.
