The analysis of the radiation from structures realized on elliptic cylinders is presented. The cases of a slot and a rectangular patch are considered modeling the field distributions on the radiators by means of/ Mathieu functions. The effects of the eccentricity of the cylinders on the radiated fields of the antennas are discussed.
