We report on kinetic energy distributions of electrons emitted during electron bombardment ofmonolayer graphene adsorbed on a nickel(111) surface. The adsorption of graphene induces significantchanges in the spectral line-shapes, determined by the effect of the electronic structure ofthe overlayer, on the transport of excited electrons from the bulk of the substrate.
