Today, South Italy represents the area of first entry for many migrants who afterwards move to the North. The first approach occurs with Southern Italian language, in this case Calabrian, which shows some features. The acquisition of phonetic and phonological features of an L2 has many difficulties for any speaker. In this research to detect these characteristics will be used the corpus Pangea, a corpus that contains linguistic codes of Italian L1 and L2. The languages considered are currently Chinese, Romanian, Polish, Albanian, Italian and Arbëreshë taking into account new migration data proposed by ISTAT and the analysis will be performed on spontaneous speech. The parameters studied are Articulation Rate, duration of stressed and unstressed syllables, duration of tonic and atonic vowels, duration of consonants in stressed and unstressed syllable and rhythm.
