Finance bills in the view of increase and diversification of finance resources. Finance bill, that have been introduced in Italy trhough the law no.93/45, represent for the firms an opportunity to widen and to diversify the financial sources. The first part of this article focuses on the description of the main technical caractheristics and operating aspects of this new financial instrument. In the second part costs and benefits are considered both for issuing firms, and for subscriver savers. Finally, the foundamental role that the second market would have to carry out in order to the development of promissory notes in Italy is analized. On this subject some considerations about the informational asimmetries problem are formulated.
