We establish existence of solutions for a second-order differential equation with non-instantaneous impulses and delay on an unbounded interval. A compactness criterion in a certain class of functions is established, which then permits to reduce the differential equation to an equivalent fixed-point problem.

Abstract

We establish existence of solutions for a second-order differential equation with non-instantaneous impulses and delay on an unbounded interval. A compactness criterion in a certain class of functions is established, which then permits to reduce the differential equation to an equivalent fixed-point problem.

We establish existence of solutions for a second-order differential equation with non-instantaneous impulses and delay on an unbounded interval. A compactness criterion in a certain class of functions is established, which then permits to reduce the differential equation to an equivalent fixed-point problem.
