Esta contribución sobre las pasiones tristes, sobre la envidia en el trabajo, ha surgido en la trama de las presiones de la contingencia y en los hechos actuales. En este caso el tema de las pasiones tristes, tiene como trasfondo la crisis o mejor dicho, la crisis al interior de la crisis, aquella de la universidad dentro de la más amplia crisis financiera y política que comenzara en el 2008. Estamos presentando aquí los primeros resultados de nuestra investigación sobre la actualidad de las pasiones tristes en el trabajo cognitivo en tanto componente fundamental de la disolución de las acciones cooperativas y movimientos de protestas en el marco de la enbestida del individualismo que ha caracterizado estos últimos años. La intensión es hacer visible a la envidia como fenómeno social y se orienta a su “laicización” señalando su olvido, función y consecuencias en la sociedad en general y en la universidad en particular.
