This essay discusses the relationship sensation-imagination between Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" and "Critique of Judgment". Its purpose is to show that: a) the kantian theory of the imagination is based on the doctrine of sensibility; b) there is a significant evolution of this theory between the first and the third Kant's Critique c) the Kantian reflections on the imagination are very important in order to a theory of post-Cartesian subjectivity; d) these theory is a significant positive assessment of appearance, ie of the phenomenal world.

Abstract
