The university non-completion rate (irregularities, dropouts, breaks) is due to a set of causes. Some of these are closely linked to the students biographical path and to the past experiences at school, others to their family and cultural background and to the broader material support and motivation they can count on; additional factors are to be identified in the environmental conditions in which the entire university experience is located. In recent years several Italian universities have promoted studies and interventions aimed at curbing the number of retention students. The Department of Political and Social Sciences of the UNICAL has implemented an experimentation with the dual aim of achieving an expansion of knowledge on the phenomenon of retention students and to experience actions to support their university career. This paper proposes an analysis of the path and focuses on the results achieved through the practice of peer study groups.

Abstract
This paper proposes an analysis of the path and focuses on the results achieved through the practice of peer study groups.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
