The X-ray crystal structure of the complex [Pd(tu)4]I 2 (tu = thiourea) is reported. This complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with cell parameters a=16.430(2), b=9.060(2), c=13.504(2) /~, /3= 114.45(2)*. The structure model, with all non-H atoms anisotropic, was refined to R= 0.028 and Rw=0.031, with the goodness-of-fit (S)= 0.91. The structure of the compound consists of Pdtu42+ cations and uncoordinated iodide anions. The Pd(II) atoms are linked to sulfur atoms of tu in a square planar arrangement.

Abstract
The X-ray crystal structure of the complex [Pd(tu)4]I 2 (tu = thiourea) is reported. This complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with cell parameters a=16.430(2), b=9.060(2), c=13.504(2) /~, /3= 114.45(2)*. The structure model, with all non-H atoms anisotropic, was refined to R= 0.028 and Rw=0.031, with the goodness-of-fit (S)= 0.91. The structure of the compound consists of Pdtu42+ cations and uncoordinated iodide anions. The Pd(II) atoms are linked to sulfur atoms of tu in a square planar arrangement.File in questo prodotto:
