Abstract
We report the observation of convective instabilities in a mesogenic azocompound complexed with palladium, subjected to electric fields. The analysis of the experimental data indicates that the conductive regime extends to higher frequencies with respect to that of the common nematics. even if we find that the dielectric anisotropy of the metallomesogen and of the ligand have the same order of magnitude.File in questo prodotto:
