The author analyzes different Deweyan interpretations developed, in particular, as of the 90s. Several issues exist: educational, metaphysical-ethical and political. The author examines a collective 1993 book on the relationship between school and society; a book edited by Jim Garrison on the New Scholarship on Dewey and different books which analyze the most meaningful aspects of Deweyan thought in relationship to the interpretative turn of the 90s. Really, the meaningful aspect which links these interpretations is the centrality of Deweyan thought in contemporary philoshical culture.
L’autore analizza differenti interpretazioni deweyane sviluppatesi, in particolare, dagli anni “novanta” in poi. Sono diverse le questioni presenti, da quelle educative a quello metafisico- etico e politico. L’autore esamina un libro collettivo sul rapporto scuola e società del 1993, un testo curato da Jim Garrison sulla New Scholarship on Dewey e vari testi che analizzano gli aspetti più significativi del pensiero deweyano in relazione alla svolta interpretativa degli anni ”90. In effetti l’aspetto significativo che lega queste interpretazioni è la centralità del pensiero di Dewey nella cultura filosofica contemporanea.
