This paper aims to validate the hypothesis of the “Educational Difference” (Rastelli, 2010) that articulates in 2 main points: a)a particular way of teaching can foster the interlanguage development; b)a teacher can contribute to improve learners’ ability to process inputs and to facilitate learning natural process. In particular, the hypothesis we move from are the following: i)the “Focus on Form” has positive effect on acquisition; ii)identifying and explaining a rule supports the efficiency of natural mechanism of acquisition; iii)a negative feedback supports more the acquisition in a classroom setting compared to the spontaneous feedback.

Abstract
This paper aims to validate the hypothesis of the “Educational Difference” (Rastelli, 2010) that articulates in 2 main points: a)a particular way of teaching can foster the interlanguage development; b)a teacher can contribute to improve learners’ ability to process inputs and to facilitate learning natural process. In particular, the hypothesis we move from are the following: i)the “Focus on Form” has positive effect on acquisition; ii)identifying and explaining a rule supports the efficiency of natural mechanism of acquisition; iii)a negative feedback supports more the acquisition in a classroom setting compared to the spontaneous feedback.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
