Vintila Horia and Panaït Istrati are not as well known as the author of "The Bald Soprano", Eugène Ionesco. If we look at the number of Italian translations, however, we realise that Vintila Horia is also very successful in Italy, and not only for his most famous work "God was born in exile", and that Panaït Istrati, despite a long period of oblivion, also gets a place of honour. Brief biographical reminders, accompanied by an updated bibliography, give an idea of what a small dictionary of literary exile might look like, focusing on the rich Franco-Italian-Romanian relations.

Abstract
Vintila Horia and Panaït Istrati are not as well known as the author of "The Bald Soprano", Eugène Ionesco. If we look at the number of Italian translations, however, we realise that Vintila Horia is also very successful in Italy, and not only for his most famous work "God was born in exile", and that Panaït Istrati, despite a long period of oblivion, also gets a place of honour. Brief biographical reminders, accompanied by an updated bibliography, give an idea of what a small dictionary of literary exile might look like, focusing on the rich Franco-Italian-Romanian relations.File in questo prodotto:
