The Dossier on Albanian Language in Italy is the last of a series of 39 published by Mercator on all minority languages in Europe. The study is devoted to the efforts in mantaining alive Albanian in the minority language communities in Southern Italy. The Dossier sketches the history of this minority group, the developments in teaching Albanian at school, gives figures about populations, teachers ant student, language usage in everyday life, and an updated list of national, regional laws and dozens of links to websites about Italo-Albanian culture, music, tourism, language, literature etc.
