In the educative development, the construction of the ego is closely linked to the relational dimension in which the subject has the opportunity to strengthen his potential by following paths of sense and significance primarily made up of communication dynamics, confrontation and encounter with the other. Through the relationship and recognition of the other, person can acquire self-knowledge and ascend, through fruitful educational and maieutic dynamics, to the unveiling of one's own identity in an ethical, productive and meaningful dimension. It is not possible to think the individual without positioning him in the historical, cultural, interpersonal context in which he lives and makes experience of the world; every form of closure to others leads to alienation and personal and social impoverishment.
