Graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets incorporated PEO/PVA composite membranes complexed with NaIO4 salt at different concentrations were prepared using solution casting technique. Impedance measurements were performed in the frequency range of 0.1 Hz – 3 MHz and at temperature in the range of 30 oC – 70 oC. Comparatively, PEO/PVA/GO (0.9 wt.%) membrane complexed with 20 wt.% of NaIO4 was demonstrated higher room temperature ionic conducvity of 1.36 x 10-6 S/cm, as compared to ??.... The incorporation of GO nanosheets contributed for the increment of number of charge carriers, diffusivity and mobility of the ions.
